Year 7 New Intake Information – September 2012

The Big Bang Schools Tour 2012

 

On Wednesday, 16 May 2012, students from Years’ 7, 8 and 9 Science were joined by Werrington Primary School and St John’s Primary School, to take part in ‘The Big Bang School Tour 2012’. 

Students enjoyed a fun-packed session of interactive and media based activities.

Weston Coyney Junior School visitYear 5 Pupils from Werrington and Weston Coyney

 

On the 1st and 8th of  May we were visited by Werrington Y5’s and on the 15th May by Y5 pupils from Weston Coyney Juniors. They have all experienced a taste of what music is like at Moorside High school.

Moorside visit to China in March 2012

As part of the fundraising for the forthcoming visit to Shanghai, the International Leaders group, who are going to China, provided a bag packing service at Asda in Cheadle. The pupils provided an excellent service and were rewarded with donations amounting to just over £200. Well done to the pupils and a big thank you to the staff and customers of Asda in Cheadle.
